|
1930s |
Everel’s art school work was
clearly successful, and this is just a small selection of drawings that she
did in the 1930s, some of which were requested by the Bookman. |
|
|
1940s |
Of course the Second World War intervened
from 1939-1945, and Everel was also busy bringing up her two children (Jean
b1940 & William b1943) in the 1940s and early 1950s. There is just one picture to view from the
1940s. |

1950s Art
School |
Everel returned to the Byam Shaw
Art School in London, this time to learn to paint in oils. This set of paintings is entirely of art
school models. |
|
|
1950s |
Everel starts to use her new oil
painting skills now that her children are at boarding school. |
|
|
1960s |
This is the most prolific period
of Everel’s painting, concentrating on portraits but with some memorable
local landscapes as well. |

|
1980s |
Whilst the quantity of Everel’s
paintings decreased in the few remaining years of her life, the quality
remained high. |
