1930s – page 1 of 2 Everel’s art school work was clearly successful, and this is just a small selection of drawings that she did in the 1930s, some of which were requested for illustration of authors by the Bookman Club.

1930	“Edward H Everington, aged 18. Edward was Everel’s brother. Size 10.5X14.5in.		1935	“Polzeath”. This was a water colour of the view across the bay at Polzeath. Size 8.5X11.5in.
1931	“Blackthorn”. This was a sketch made at the family holiday house at Polzeath, Cornwall.		c1935	Gray’s Inn Great Hall. Everel’s brother Geoffrey, was a member of Gray’s Inn, and later became a QC. This drawing was published in the Gray’s Inn Magazine, Graya.
1931	Everel took the above holiday sketch of blackthorn and used it to create a picture at home.		c1935	“Monastic Calm”. The outside of the Gray’s Inn library. Published (much later) in Graya 26, Michaelmas 1947, this drawing was kindly submitted by the current librarian.
